Drive train noise at lower speeds

Noise in front drive train at lower gears. Transmission shop thinks problem is transfer case. Transmission checks o.k. 2010 explorer 55,000 mi AWD. Shop estimates $1,000.00 to repair.

Not sure when you purchase your X, but the 2010 has a 5 yr 60k powertrain warrantee.... You should be covered.
