Drivers door unlock button doesnt

Switch tests "good" ,unlock mechanism works fine when activated from the passenger door switch. Ideas and or suggestions please?

wire broken in the driver's side door post... PK/V is likely candidate.

Thanks for the response, I'll have a look at that ..Forgive my ignorance but PK/V? I'm assuming thats a wire color and guessing its pink w/ violet?

that's my "guess"... but note that my reference is a 96 drawing so "your color mileage may very".
