Drivers outside door handle

My outside drivers door handle needs replacing. I got one here and it was already out of the truck so I did not get to see how it was attached.I was looking at mine and it looks like it may be attached with rivets or is it attached with nuts and bolts.Can anyone here with more knowledge answer me this question. I never have very good luck drilling out rivets. Thanks xltmike

They are attached with rivets.

You can attach it with either rivets or bolts. Some use rivets, some prefer bolts, but either fastener will work. They came from the factory with rivets though. Just check out your other doors...
