I lifted my explorer four inches and went trail riding. Low and behold i popped out my front driveshaft, which I was expecting too! I am going to take it to the machine shop and have it lengthened this week. My question is where exactly do I measure from? I was thinking in the center where the u-joint goes to the top of the transfer case, then from the center to the bottom of the transfer case, and just take the number between those.....say the top is 54 inches and the bottom is 52inches then i would get 53inches....I would hate to have it lengthened to the wrong length!
If anyone know the exact length that would be awesome!
Thanks
