Dropped Trans. Pan new filter fluid - Opinions

03 Sport Trac XLT , Just finished dropping my trans pan and changing out the filter, I noticed when i dropped the Pan there were 4 small {very small} round Metal Tabs just lying in the bottom of the Pan ?? anyone have any idea what these are ?? they look like those Artificial Sweetner Tabs that used to be on the market years ago , not magnetic , no idea what these are ill try and post a Pic of them.. Everything back up and runs / shifts fine ..

Ford has been known to leave plugs from assembly in the trans pan. Perhaps that's what they are. If it's working fine, I wouldn't worry about them. I'll be doing this job soon. Maybe I'll find the same thing...
