Hello, first time posting here I just picked up my 02 XLT and Im looking for a dual exhaust set up, is there any out there without having to make a custom set up?

Another thing im interested in is lowering it, I notice some places are just selling springs, Which company has the best set up(package) out there? Im only looking to lower around 1.6 inch but sould like a shock/spring combo.

Thank you

EE sells lowering kits, dropped my 03 1 3/8s with there kit which is made for the EX
Dual outs on a single catback system is a waste of money, all show no go and actually creates more back pressor and less HP gains, 2.5 inch custom made magnaflow installed by a ruputable custom speed or exhaust shop is the ticket IMO.
Gibson makes a ready made system, perhaps others as well

How is the ride on your EE kit? Im looking for a good ride for daily driving.

Yes i was interested in a full cat back exhaust ill check out gibson thanks

There is a significant difference between a Sport Trac and an '02 Explorer. There are a few companies out there that make a lowering kit. I'm not sure off hand what they are. They lower it around 1.5"-2". As far as dual exhaust goes, custom is the only way. There are single cat backs however.

I believe that Ground Force coils ($199 at EE) are your only option for lowering the rear of your 3rd Gen at this point. Not sure what happened to those adjustable coilovers that were being talked about, but I don't see them at EE anymore.

Ride is far better than OEM but I have also made changes in rim and tire size not to mention EE swaybar and rancho shocks
thought the ST and the ex suspensions were the same, guess i am wrong

nope as of 02 all 4door explorers were ifs and irs with coilovers all around, you have a soild axle on the back of your trac
so true, thx for the education

so now dual exhaust set ups out yet for the 4 door?

I wouldn't look for there to be any made by companies. You're going to have to go custom.
