DVD/MP3 Player...and a monitor - great deal!

I found a really nice Blaupunkt DVD/CD/MP3 player at this site... Dead Link Removed

It's on sale for $289.00!!! I really want to get that and a $300 5-6" screen and mount them both in my center console. I'd probably put the monitor in the little cubby right below the AC controls and possibly put the DVD player in the second cubby hole below that. Does anyone know anything about this DVD player? It seems like a great deal...I figure if I could do the install I could have a TV, and the DVD player for less than $600!!! DOes anyone have any input about mounting a screen in that location? Also, in the future where would be a good place to mount a screen for the rear seat? I have a sunroof so the ceiling would be difficult....any suggestions? Thanks a lot!

i dont have any experience with it, but blaupunkt does have a great reputation.

search ebay (try things like "car dvd"). i've seen the same one on ebay for $160. and it's pretty common.

Yep...I've seen it cheaper also. TV/DVD combo can be really cheap as long as it's not flip-out and in dash.

The idea for your placement sounds good. Just make sure that you shop arround for a while before you just buy a quick deal. You need to make sure that you are getting a good deal!

Great point guys!...I was so excited to see a good deal I didn't even think of checking E-bay. I'm sure I could get it there for about $200. There are also some cheap monitors there too. I'll keep shopping around and let you guys know what I find. Thanks again!
