I have just recently lifted my Explorer '92 with a 6" skyjacker kit in front and superlift SOA in the rear. I have some concerns about the drivers side e-brake cable. It drags quite abit on the bracket on the frame, right in front of the driver side tire. Am I suposed to change the way it is routed on the frame brackets, or get a longer cable that runs from the adjuster to the driver side drum. Any help would be great.

I think some people have made new lower frame brackets.

I have the same problem. Even with the extender. I don't worry about it. At full flex I know its really tight but hasn't caused any problems yet. Do you have the brake extension installed? Also if I remember right we can use a cable from a extended ranger, I believe. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

You can take the driver side completely out of the bracket. Right now I'm running it like that and its jerry rigged with turnbuckle, a piece of wire, and some wire clamps. Its easy to adjust and works better than ever.
