I just installed these Saturday in my OHV, and i went from about 18 mpg highway to about 23 when I checked it today. And mixed driving went from less than 15 to 17-18 mpg. I will see how these perform during the week as I have been getting less than 12 mpg around town. These calculations were based off filling the tank and driving, and filling again. I used a GPS system to tell me how fast I was going and from there I got the percentage of error for my tire size and calculated actual mileage from that. My 23 mpg was all highway except for about 10 miles, of which some was up mountains and some city driving. My highway driving was at a higher than normal speed due to people driving like maniacs today, but I was highly impressed. Whether theres more power or not, it feels it, I felt like I didn't downshift anywhere near as much when climbing slight hills on the highway. So far I like them.

I got them from pepboys, I had to ask about them as they didn't mention them when looking up the plugs, but when I asked about them, he said he did have them. They were in stock. They are pre-gapped at the factory. I do not think you can gap them, but it is not needed. Just swap and go. It may sound weird and is not really credible at all, but it just felt like my truck ran better altogether.

I installed a set of these in my 2000 SOHC on Wed night. Granted these are the first new plugs this engine has seen (75,000 miles) but overall things run smoother.... I was getting about 16 miles to the gallon in the city and I’ll update if these provide an improvement.

Only thing I have noticed is that it seems like my engine revs up higher on starts than before......

So far mileage seems to be better. I did a road trip recently where I left my truck idling over 45 minutes to keep it warm and still got over 15 mpg. Last time I did that trip I got the same mileage with no idling. So far so good.
