"I 'm getting a high pitch noise when I get to 50mph. Let off the gas and the noise dissappears for a second or 2 then reappears as the transmission engages into coast mode. Turns to a low pitch noise as I turn a corner at lower speeds. The tech I brought it to said it was the bearing assembly on the left front wheel bearing. Replaced assembly but noise is still there. I believe it is the transfer case or transmission. Am I on the right track?
Also, it has an air ride system. when I got the suv back from the shop, my rear end suspension is hard as concrete. what the heck did they do?
thnx

Ok 2 things.
1.The high pitch noise is probably your tranny, mine does it too, there also may be a TSB on it.
2.They may have disabled your air-riide suspension for one reason or another. The shutoff swtich is in the cargo area somewhere. Check to make sure it is turned on.
