Easy to adjust the front ride height on 96 explorers?

Someone told me it was very simple to change the ride height in the front of the 96+ Explorers because of the torsion bar setup. It seems like the front left on my exp is a little low so I was wondering what all would be involved in raising it back up. I have planty of tools and am fairly mehanically inclined but just want to know what I have ahead of me. The Exp's suspension is stock...I just want to make it all level again. Any tips???

All you gotta do is tighten up the torsion bar adjustment bolt on the low side. Follow the torsion bar back to where it ends in the transmission cross member. Slide under the cross member and look through the big hole in the torsion bar mount cover plate. You'll see a small hex head bolt with some threads showing. That's the torsion bar adjustment bolt. Tighten to lift, loosen to lower. Easy as cake. Try a search around here...it's a popular topic. If you are still confused, there are some threads around with pictures of the bolt.

Cool Stephen, thanks...I assume you need to get the weight off the wheel before adjusting or does it not matter???

Some say that it makes things easier if you jack up the truck (from the frame) to take the pressure off the torsion bar. But then you have to let it down and drive around a little to get an accurate measurement of height change. Others tighten them with the weight on the wheels, so it's easier to get a measurement quickly. I guess it's just preference.
