eclipse cd player power troubles

I have a eclipse model number 5443,and i cannot get it to power up,is there something I am not doing right,is there something I need to do when you move this player from one truck to another,I get little jerkey movements out of the face but nothing else,also I noticed there is no visable fuse.Thanks for any help or ideas.Brad in Iowa

was the ESN security feature activated? if so, then you need to put in the key disc. whatever disc was used. also, there should be at least one fuse on it.

I can here the the deck powering up when i turn the key switch.the guy that sold it to me said he never activated it.I am also wondering if I should connect all the wires in the wiring loom together,including illuminatoin,and power att.what do you think Lee?I think the fuse is internal,but I dont think that is my problem.

do you trust the guy you bought it from?
i have heard of that problem with the eclipse systems when they are stolen.....

I got the moterized face open just by repeatedley pushing the open and power button.What sucks is I do not have a owners manuel

I trust him,he is pretty cool,he has eclipse decks in everything he drives,he also owns a car audio place in new jersey.
