It is a one man job that literally takes 5 minutes. There is a metal retaining c clip on the outside of the plastic housing that the ECT sensor is seated in that needs to be removed. Once removed, unplug the connector from the sensor and with a twisting motion pull the sensor out. Take the new sensor and press it into the opening that the old one was in using a clockwise twisting motion to help it fully seat and then be sure to put the retaining clip back in. If you cannot get the clip back in, the sensor is not yet fully seated in the housing yet. Plug the connector into the new sensor and you are good to go.
