Anybody think Ford will do an Eddie Bauer version of the New Ex, or anybody like to see it done. Just want to get some thoughts, personally I always love the Eddie Bauer versions of Ford CUV's and SUV's

No, Ford severed their relationship with Eddie Bauer following Ford's 2010 Model year.

I don't care about the name - but I'd certainly like to see an upgraded version with improved features - like painted lower body-parts, heated rear-seats, heated and power-adjustable steering-wheel and aluminum interior panels or genuine wood instead of the plastic. And last but not least, the REAL V6 EcoBoost engine!

A fridge for the rear center-console (see Flex) and a leather-dash (see Lincoln MKX) would be nice - but I guess that's wishful thinking.

How about a 2013/2014 Ford Explorer "Titanium" or "Sport"?:D

Sure.. just tack on another $7k - $10k ;)

Honestly, I wouldn't mind paying that premium for these features. Unless Lincoln is going to offer their own version of the Ex, there is "space" for such a vehicle. After all, the "Titanium" Edition wouldn't replace the cheaper versions - it would only turn this Ford into a luxury-SUV. I mean, if they put heated rear-seats, genuine wood, a fridge and the V6 EcoBoost into the Flex, why can't they do so on the Explorer?

They need something besides the "Titanium" thing though. It's like they were trying to work off the Denali plate, except that the Platinum F150 looks ridiculous. The two-tone Eddie's looked classy, the Titanium trucks look like a Putco shopping spree. Just my opinion though...:)

Yeah, the appearance of the "end-product" is also a delicate matter - but since I'm some kind of an "option- and feature-freak", I'm more focused on that.:p:

Look for more of this stuff in the Lincoln "Aviator"

As of today, I'm not aware that there will be such a Lincoln any time soon..:(

If it's options and features, there wasn't anything on the Eddie's that you couldn't/cant option up to with a hopped up XLT or Limited...

Well, in that case:

Ford, JUST GIVE ME MY DESIRED FEATURES....:D;)

I'd like them to produce the Ford "Got Fixed Edition" Explorer!

i really liked my heated steering wheel in my maxima, wish the EX had it.....i think they could do a "sport" explorer...they used to have the 2dr explorer sport, but this time they can make all the panels body colored and 22" wheels (think edge sport)

Word with "SHO" Eco-Boost Engine!!

... and front parking sensors ... :D

For me I just like the tradition of the Eddie Bauer nameplate associated with Ford that started all the way back with the Broncos, but as someone mentioned ford severed ties with Eddie Bauer a while back.
