The upgrade is completed and the new brakes are Awesome! It is hard to explain. Normal slowing and slight brakeing feels how it should. Very smooth and crisp. However, when I jump on the brake peddle Speed just Stops and so does the truck. Honestly when I was doing emergency style stopping from 60 and above it stoped SOOO Much quicker than stock. Feels like I have twice the stopping power. Not to mention how great they look. The rotor has a coating that keeps it from coroading and rusting up. The bright silver matches my wheels great plus the slots add that Performance look!

& Once Again Hats off to John V at www.explorerexpress.com Fantastic service and resolved an issue with the wrong part nextday! They really do care about their customers. :t:

:pimp: Note: Here is another reason why it is good to have an O1+ Sport vs. anyother Explorer. We have Larger Rotors than everyone else. The O1+ Sports have the same front rotors that the Sport Trac Trucks have. The Rotors measure a full 12" across. Where as all other models measure 11.25" across. Not a ton of difference but still made me happy!

Looks great! What brake pads are you using? Also, did you bleed your master cylinder?

nice man, what wasw the cost of that, just curiuos, cuz it seems like its near $500, and for that I would like to try a cobra brake conversion if it infact costs that much...thanks

ya for taht pric eim gonna put cobra ones on mine eventually..when mine warp...

Cobra Rotors or Cobra calipers? Neither one are going to bolt on. Check out the brake specials we have going on this site.

$92.95ea. for the AWD is a competitive price.

Those look great but why are the 2001-2003 Sports bigger i didn't know this plus how do i order them from Explorer Express do i order Sport Trac ones or juts tell them its an 01 Sport. So there powerslot though thats real cool.

Thats realy great BM i can't wait to get my hands on some of these. Christmas Money please lol. Oh plus my birthday is in January awesome thats more cash there. These upgrades will be great for my Autocross adventures.

I am curious, would the larger rotors fit older years? Is it as simple as just replacing the calipers to fit over the larger rotor? Would 3/4" be worth upgrading?

Just wondering, not neccesarily going to do it.
