Hey everyone this is my first post so I hope someone can help me. First of all I have a 97 EB SOHC with no mods except a K&N FIPK. This truck also has the air ride suspension option, and if I remember correctly it has the H rated torsion bars. I am thinking of doing the TT/shackle mod this weekend. Will the air suspension still work? Has anyone with the air ride option done this mod before? From using the search feature I know how to do the actual work, but couldn't find anything about this. Thanks in advance for any help!

I think I read somewhere where you have to lengthen the bracket that the air ride sensor is on to lower it 2" away from the frame if you lift the truck 2". I'm not sure though...

What if I just turned the air ride switch off? I mean, it really doesnt seem to do anything anyways, unless I am loaded down in the back, towing, or have the truck sitting at an odd angle. I know someone on this board must have already dealt with this problem.

Thanks for the responses. I went ahead and ordered the shackles. I will through them on and do the TT when they get here (7-10 days).
