EGR/Injector Probs?

I have a 94' Ex, Auto with 108K on the clock. Since i bought it a few months ago I get the check engine light on. I took it to Checkers and did the code scan thing. I got the following codes:


335-Exhaust pressure tranducer sensor voltage out of range during KOEO

186--Injector Pulse width higher than expected

332--EGR flow insufficient

No reported codes during KOER

The truck runs kinda doggish. The CE light comes on mainly when you get into the gas. Terrible gas mileage

Question: Will a bad EGR valve make the truck run rich and perform crappy? Idle is pretty decent. No probs at startup. Is this only an EGR valve prob or could it be the EGR sensor? Thank a million for the help!

Sounds like the DPFE sensor but since you've already taken it to the dealer I won't go into detail.

Sorry no one gave you the answers you were looking for because they didn't know. Gee's dude, your looking for free advice and wanting a refund.

How much for the refund? J/K didn't mean to sound like an a$$. Just thought thought some of you guys with considerable experience would chime in. No Probs though. We'll see what they say today though.

I saw an episode of 2 guys garage where they had an explorer on the rack. It had EGR codes and they said to remember to take off the throttle body and clean both sides very well. They showed the back side and it was all carbon'd up.

I just got the light today and it is for 335 and 332.

I intend to replace the DPFE and associated hoses, the EGR valve and take the TB off and clean it too.

I suggest we all not overlook the backside of the TB!
