EGR issue

1996 5.0 with an EGR low flow issue. Local CA Star Certified garage says the cause of this error with Fords is very often the DPFE sensor. Where is this located? I have a factory repair manual which shows how it looks in position, but not exactly where it is.

Depending on exact year there isn't not a dpfe sensor granted it's the gt40 version. I know this is old post
