egr pipe

So is was replacing the EGR valve on my ex the other day. took me forever to get the pipe off because of rust. finally got it loose, started wrenching, not realizing the pipe was also seized to the nut, and twisted the pipe in half. does anybody know where i can get another one? auto parts stores don't seem to have it. its the pipe that goes from the driver side exhaust manifold to the EGR valve

well I know whenever I can't find a part at a parts store... I'd go to the wreckers or ford dealership... Ford Dealership will have them for sure, and if not in stock they will order it for u... Dealerships usually up the price lots tho

yea i'm trying to avoid the stealership if at all possible...and i'm afraid anything from the junkyard would have the same problem

Yeah I know what you mean by stealerships Umm... some good junkyards will test the part or if you tell them whats wrong with your part Im sure they will take extra precaution not to break it. Umm... besides that... I believe there are people on the forums here that are parting out their trucks... Do a search to find the thread or go here http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=8 and goto "parts wanted" and tell them what you need and someone will probably sell one to you. New EGR Tube
