I have a 2009 Explorer sportrac with the 4.0 engine, 89,900 miles. It runs good but has a P0401 code. The hose going from the left side of the engine to the 2 ports on the back of the EGR valve was broken. I took off the Egr valve to clean it, it was pretty dirty so I bought a new Motorcraft one and replaced the valve and hose. I cleared the memory but the code returned after about 15 miles. I tried a koer test and got a P1408. Any ideas?
