will a egr tube if broke cause the engine to run bad?

Yeah. Having a bad EGR valve or tube will mess up your truck's acceleration and idle.

How do you know it's bad?

The egr tube is broke right in the middle. Also i looked online and cant find one anywhere. Also is there a spray i could use to clean the egr out with. Im sure it has trash in it. Ive been mudding with it broke. I just noticed it the other day. I thought the header was just cracked like most of them.

You'll probably have to get the egr tube from ford I think they run around $60-$70 dollars
