EGR valve removal

I want to change my EGR valve but I cant get to the freakin bolts with any of my tools. I have a 97XLT w/V8 5.0. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get to those bolts? is there a tool that I'm not thinking of?

Got the same setup... get some rest, have a nice breakfast, place a blanket over the engine and get comfortable cause it may take a little while. The quarters are very tight and I had to use a 1/4 drive along with some flex extensions but I did it. It's possible, just take your time.
