sup People,
I just pulled a codes from my 94 b4000 pu and saw that the egr valve is not getting adequate voltage and is not passing flow requirements. Will cleaning the egr valve out be enough or do I need to address the voltage issue as well?
Thanks.

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the Ranger/Mazda section. What was the code number? The EGR might be good but a related part might be bad such as the DPFE sensor or a vacuum line.

the codes on the egr valve are 332 and 326. I changed the o2 sensors because the codes related to those told me they were not switching. The egr valve itself is clean and the valve is working. (not torn). I noticed when I removed the vac line from the egr, that line had barely any vaccum coming out of it. Not sure if the vaccum is Rpm relative? Any way. I will reset codes after installing o2 sensors and see what codes are remaining. Here is a nice site that has the obd1 codes list. http://www.actron.com/code_lookup.php
What function does the egr selinoid have? I did notice that the vac lines that connect to the egr selinoid are kinda loose. Probably should change those lines.
:p::salute:
