- 1994 XLT,
I have an electric fan on my 95 XLT, getting rid of the stocker. Today while wheeling the electric( biggest advance sells) wouldn't keep it cool. It got to 250 a couple times, normal with driving it runs between 150-190.
Should I:
keep the electric( I need to check for proper air flow orientation)
yank the electric and put the stock one in
yank the electric and put in a quality flex fan.
I know that not having a dedicated tranny cooler(only cooler the 95-96 have is in the radiator) isn't too good for the heat problem, I am just waiting to install an aux cooler I have.
