I have a 2000 explorer sport, recentally the rear running and dash board lights stoped working. I replaced a blown fuse for the running lights, the other fuses are fine, but the lights still do not work. The bulbs are fine. I just can't understand how to different set of lights stopped working. Can any one help me with this problem?
THANK YOU

yep they both come from the same fuse source (at least in 96 wiring). Check for power at your park lamp relay both on the "pull up" side (energizing the coil among other things including your instrumentation lights.... hint, hint) and ensure that the relay pulls up and there is power on the switched contacts... this gives you your running lights.

Thank You budwich....But where will I find the park lamp relay on this vehical.

Welcome to this forum! You have a power distribution box under the hood with relays, and high current fuses. I'm not sure if it is located in there for your year vehicle. You also have some relays under the dashboard (unless they put all of them in the distribution box).
