My Wife's explorer, last week when she was leaving the house, drove a block and it died. Lights, radio, gauges worked but would not turn over. After she played with it for a few minutes, it cranked. She drove it a few feet and it did the same thing again. We get it to the Dealer and they said it needed a Throttle Air Valve Asy.. couple of hundred bucks and a tune up for a total of $500+. It runs ok for a couple of days and then today it dies again, she limps it back to the dealer and they say "this all points to a bad computer" of which they could do for 1100 bucks.. I said no thanks and found you guys. Any help ??? And a new battery was installed about 4 weeks ago...
