Ok I removed my 4x4 shift motor and cleaned the brushes. I started to remove the switch cover (the one with the anti-tamper screws) with the new torx set I bought just for this and found that you need ones make of titanium since it killed my torx head so then I attempted it with the lock plyers and due to what I think is Loc-tite the head just broke off. At this point I did not attempt the other two (I don't have a tap and dye set). Put all back together and 4x4 now works. However when I stop, put into neutral push in the clutch and hit the 4x4 low button, the 4x4 high goese out and at that point I am in 2x again. Doese anyone know what could be causing this?

Got the brake pressed too???? If yes, the motor still may not be lined up correctly.........

Mine did this twice this past weekend. I haven't checked anything yet, but I'm going to look at the wiring at the buttons.
