:salute:
Hello everyone,
Just picked me up a 91 Explorer 4wd with a V6. Owned by an 80y/o lady who passed away and has 81k original miles on it.
I paid 1500 for it from her son. The interior is a 10/10. It is immaculate, everyone says it looks brand new. The exterior is fading and has the white clear coat fade going on.
Her son is a mechanic and replaced the Radiator, belts, hoses, battery, calipers, brake pads, master cylinder, all fluids changed, alignment, brand new 31" Mud Dawg tires, New alternator, spark plugs, distributor, and a few more things.

Basically...I was lucky. I found it the day he posted it and bought it 30 min later lol. For a 91 it is immaculate. no rust. no leaks. im still in shock of how i found this thing.

Im not bragging or anything, it is just like a WOW factor im still in lol.

but anyways, The name is Jarrod and i cant wait to get down and dirty with the explorer.

I want to get 35" tires on it, but if dont know if i need a 4.5" lift or a 6"
I had a lifted Cherokee and wrangler and i dont want to go too high due to this being my DD and i still need a semi decent gas mileage lol.

I only drive 10 miles to work, so its not bad.

Any ideas on some lifts or ideas on if i should just get 33's or what?

Welcome to the forum! Glad to see another happy owner. I think anything you do with the tire size is going to kill the gas mileage unless you go smaller lol. I would suggest going through the search and checking out some of the set ups people

G'day Jarrod, sweet score:)
