I have a 94 xlt 2wd X, It gave me alot of problems yrs ago, so I parked it and bought wife a new car. Only time it was driven was during hunting season about 20 miles round trip to camp. other than that it sits for the rest of the yr. So this year on the way home from the camp It died on me, kept blowing fuse #4 in engine compartment. Bought a haynes book for the wiring diagram. traced the wires back and found that the wiring harness going to the trany melted to the eshaust pipe. So I fixed that truck started and go me home. Ran like it always has, like crap. Since I now had the book I thought I get running correctly. Pulled the codes was getting 122 with the KOEO test.
So I replaced the TPS. reset the pcm (disconnected the batt). truck starting to act better. So I replaced the plugs, wireset, and fuel filter. Truck now has some power. Pulled the codes again KOEO no codes, CM 332, KOER no codes (111). DTC 332 is egr opening not detected. Searched this forum found that most likely cause is the DPFE. Engine was replaced a few yrs back along with the trany a yr before that.

Now the known problems I have is: Muffler is shot, Radius arm bushing shot, getting the 332 DTC, and now when driving when and it shifts into 4/od there is some shuddering. truck use to shudder all the time till I replaced the TPS.

As far as the shuddering goes I think it may have some thing to do with the TCC solenoid. As right after I replaced the TPS, one of the codes I got in CM was 629. But this was before I rest the PCM. I rest the PCM thinking that it had learned the wrong settings due to a bad TPS.

Also with the 332 whould this error show up with a bad muffler. maybe not enough back pressure. Going to have the muffler replaced this weekend.

I figured I start with the muffler, then work on the 332, then do the bushings, then the shuddering problem. IS this the correct approch to all these problems or should I start somewhere else.

Thanks
