I ran my 91 ex hot about a year ago and have replaced several components after the fact, including heads, plugs, wires, ehaust (catback) and hoses/belts, and whole cooling system. Ever since though i have miss while running at low rpm cruise speeds. 5 speed tranny. Accelerates like a champ, and with the slightest of acceleration pedal pressure, there is no problem. But when maintaining a constant speed, the engine surges a little bit. Its very annoying, and i was wondering if it might be the Oxygen Sensor damaged after the overheat? It did blow smoke for an hour after the new parts were installed.
