my 90 ranger developed a miss and ran rough especially while accelerating. i changed the fuel filter and that didn't help. i changed plug wires and distributor cap, still no change. then i changed the plugs. they were completely worn out. it ran pretty good after that until i was going 60 or so and tried to accelerate. i could feel a slight roughness. after 100 miles i started it and it was as bad as ever. i think i got one or two burned valves. i recall three plugs were covered in a yellowish deposit. your thoughts?
