In response to my previous post regarding the check engine light problem, Auto zone code reader says a missfire in cylinder # 4.

What is everyone's reccommended course of action. How labor intensive is a doing all the plugs and wires. Are there any plugs that are problems due to tool clearence??

Besides bad plugs and wires what else could cause this problem?? I'm not familiar with non-distributor based engines.

Anyone have previously paid prices for tune-ups??

If it easy enough I will do it myself.

Plugs and wires should be replaced every 60k miles. If they haven't, that is most likely your problem.

Besides plugs and wires, it could be your coil pack going bad, a computer problem, or other electrical problem.

It could also just be a minor hiccup and not be a problem at all.

I'd recommend changing your plugs and wires if they need to be changed, other wise clear the code and see if it returns. If it does, you can take further action.
