engine mounts

Any one ever replaced engine mounts here- I suspect mine are wearing as the engine moves a lot when I nail the gas! I must admit I have not even checked if they are tight yet....too lazy!

my old st24 used to do this it was a torque restrictor mount underneath i dont know off hand if the ex has them but more than likely thats the problem ,rich

same with my old mondeo, but they are front wheel drive so the engine is mounted sideways. iv only seen a large rubber mount on the gearbox and the underneath of the engine on are ex's.

Hmmm, I wonder- see my recent exhaust keeps on working loose from the first join just after the cats-taken it back to kwickfits three times, they have now got three clamps on it and it needs doing again......I dont care really as it has a three year guarantee. But they say the engine mounts need changing as the engine rotates a fair bit when it revs.
#I always knew that as its a powerful beast......but I guess I will have to get out with a socket set and toghten everything I can find and hope that cures it!
