engine number

I just bougt a explorer Ltd, according to specification should have the to engine number NS04964696 but on engine block T3330333T stamped in, have problems to register, thanks for help.

Possible that the original engine may have been replaced?

where is the engine number located, I can't seem to find mine
I'm looking for the block number that will tell me the manufacturing date of the block, not looking for the the vehicle or vin number just the engine block #'s 1993 ford 4.0
