Engine Number

I need to find my engine number in order to ship my Explorer to Turkey. Anyone know what this number is and where i find it? The Ford dealership doesnt even know what this number is. Thanks.

It's a long shot as you drive a 4th gen,.. but I know most of the 2nd gen's were on the back of the engine block, driver's side, below the head and above the tranny bell housing. IF you can get back there..

wow, i dont know why that make it that complicated, and I wonder why the turkish Govnt cares that much. I know the black market is pretty bad over there but damn. thank you very much for the info, hopefully I can find it pretty easy.
