Wonder if anyone else has or has had this problem. I have an '07 Limited V8, Auto 6-spd. Many times, when leaving from a dead stop (say a stop light or stop sign), my engine over-revs like it's a manual stuck in 1st gear (My last EX was a '91 manual 5-spd that I drove for 23 years). After a few seconds and about 30 mph, it will shift into the higher gears and run as normal. It's not my lead foot trying to beat anyone off the line. As a matter of fact, I've been having a tendency to go easier on the accelerator since I've noticed this.
I don't get a check engine light or any other indications of a problem. Do I have a malfunctioning sensor?
Any help or advice is appreciated.
