Ok here is the problem. Whenever I start the car and its cold(under 40degrees), I go to pull out of my driveway and usually have to wait for a few cars to pass. When I hit the gas to go it does nothing for like a second then it will take off. If it is really cold it will do it at a light or something else before the car is warm. It only does this when it is cold. I have had the car for a year and a half and it just started doing this recently. Some suggestions on what it could be would be great.

Let the engine warm up before you drive it. The computer is running the engine rich (to much gas) in order to bring it up to operating temperature. You can try things like air and fuel filter, less viscous oil (5w30), and clean the fuel injectors. You should check thermostat and fan clutch. Also keeping the heat off will make the engine heat up faster.
