engine surge at idle

about a month ago, i ran out of gas in it, and sever since then, once the engine has warmed up, while idling, the engine will surge for a few minutes, then die. truck has 112900 miles on it. ( i did get codes off it right after, cant remember the numbers, but said engine lean on left and right bank , 2 diff codes) i cleared the codes, and did ok for a time, then started again.

i will grab what ever OBD2 codes i can an post them.

I just got the truck back from tranny mechanic today, $2000 rebuild.
engine runs fine while cold and while driving, but once warmed up, will get engine surge at idle.

check for a vacuum leak in the intake gaskets. Also check/clean your IAC.

While your in there clean your MAF
