engine swaps or adding a turbo?

I've seen a few 5.0 swaps, and I'm considering doing 1 or 2
a friend suggested adding the turbo set-up from a t-bird turbo coupe, how hard is this and which parts are needed? (i.e. wiring, computer, vacuum hoses, turbo, manifold)
anyone done this? wanna share your knowledge?

I haven't heard of a turbo'd Ranger here, but have you tried on RangerPowerSports?
