I have a 95 ford explorer 4.0L OHV it has alot of kms on it(289000 to be exact) and it was running great up to a couple days ago.I drove it and then stopped for about a 20 minutes started it again and it wouldnt idle correctly and was sputtering and the engine was missfiring really bad.So i left it for a bit and started it up again it is not missing as bad but still a slight miss.Then i noticed today the check guage light(not check engine) started to come on randomly while driving even though all the guages are in the places they should be.And to make matters worse now i noticed that if stopped and you rev the engine my idle and oil pressure drop really low before they shoot back up to where they should be,anybody have any ideas of what could be causing all of this?
