I don't see why not, I have seen crossovers mounted in a double din under a single din head unit. I put my kenwood corssover in the center console for extra security.
You sure can, although mounting it may be a problem. That and making a faceplate to match the dash. Get some ABS plastic from a hobby shop that matches your interior and go crazy.
Yeah think that i would go for the center councel. But i have seen guys that put them in their ash trays. It can be pretty easy to rip off if you knew it was there thuogh but it looks cool
