erratic tachometer

Anyone have problem with tach that will work then for some reason just fall to the 0 position. Other times it will work all the time. No corelation to anything I can see. Occasionally a good foot to it starts it

My tachometer sits on 0 most of the time. Sometimes it'll fluctuate when I go over bumps. Hell, sometimes it gets reversed, and the arrow actually spins around the wrong way.

But sometimes it works.

(I'm not too concerned about getting it fixed )
