Was just wondering if any fuel system upgrades are required to run an e30/e50 tune??

Is your Sport Flex fuel?

I'm not too familiar with what you're attempting to do but it seems rather counterproductive. Gas containing ethanol produces less power than gas without it and then you want to add a tune. Why not just add a tune with the current setup?

It should be slightly cheaper to fuel up which is my main concern. From what i’ve heard ethanol contains more oxygen per unit and raises the octane allowing me to run more boost?? In theory this should allow for more power.

You can’t run that in an EcoBoost, it requires more fuel delivery than the OEM pump is capable of.

Ethanol contains less energy per gallon than gasoline, to varying degrees, depending on the volume percentage of ethanol in the blend. Denatured ethanol (98% ethanol) contains about 30% less energy than gasoline per gallon.
Although it may be cheaper to f ule up, your MPG will go down so you'd be filling up more often. But according to PlatinumOwner, your plan is a 'non-starter'.

Higher ethanol does reduce MPG, which may or may not be offset by the lower cost.

If tuned correctly, you can gain power with higher ethanol. More boost and timing can yield more power.

How much power depends on a lot of things and I'm no expert for what the gains could be on the 3.5TT, but, as PlatinumOwner states, if the fuel system cannot handle the extra flow, it doesn't really matter until you upgrade fuel delivery.
