On my 91 4.0 Explorer, have been having a starting issue. It acts like it is was either running out of fuel or running to rich, sputtering. I finally found that this ONLY happens when it has the 10% ethanol blended fuel in it. It also gurgles in the tank. No question about it now, it is the ETHANOL. And no there is no bad or old parts involved. Everything is either new or been replaced regarding the fuel system.
