Well, I finally got to take my new explorer out in the mud and snow today. This is my third Explorer that I have owned and have been wanting to take it out, but really didn't know of many people who wanted to go. I met someone through this website that only lives about 10 minutes from me. We both were looking to go out and just have fun. And that's what we did. We ran into to j$$ps that were out and they were wondering what we were doing in such nice cars. We said, same as you, having fun. They told us not to go down this one trail, but did we listen, NO. If they can do it, we can too. I have posted some pics at the following site. Check them out and let me know what you think. The other driver is MIKEFOX.

Yep. David and I had a great time. It was fun getting out and gettin our rigs dirty. We didn't do stuff that was to tuff but did enough as it was. I was really suprised at what my stock 95 could do. I did have to use 4low most of the time because the 4auto sucks for 4X'ing. Now that I have seen David's rig I am going to be doing the Torsion twist and probably start with the shackles and maybe an add-a-leaf later if I need more. We are going to go out again sometime, to a different place. If anyone in our neck of the woods wants to come drop David or I an email. Happy trailing. Dead Link Removed

Hey david what setup did you do to run your duals, I am thinking about doing that, but also how does it sound, I wish I could hear it to see if I like it. It is not a loud popping sound is it , I want a deep throaty sound.

It definately doesn't sound like one of the million imports out there. It has a definate deep sound to it. It is a Flowmaster muffler with custom dual pipes. I had the same thing done on my previous Explorer and loved it as well. Sounds more like a V-8, not a V-6. Everyone I know seems to like it. By the way, do you have any rubbing with your 32x11.50's. I had a little, but fixed that by trimming the lower part of the bumper. The other thing is that you have a 98, which has a different bumper. Hope the info on the exhaust helps.

David's exhaust does sound good. If I didn't know better I would have thought he had a V-8. I went with the Dynomax cat-back on mine only because roadstore.com had it on close out for $50 +s/h late last year. I couldn't pass it up. Has a little bit a growl to it but still sounds like a V-6. Hey what kind of flowmaster is it a 50 series or a 40. I dont have any rubbing at all on mine, I fixing to go with a 33 with a three inch body lift, would try 35's but I am sure they would rub. I think I might go get some exhaust ,I like how that looked but I am going to get the borla square intercooled tips, I think.
