2001 Sport trac I have a small EVAP leak code.
I have an Actron Elite CP9185 AutoScanner
Can anyone tell me what the "On-board Systems - EVAP leak test" does? When I hit enter for this diagnostic it comes back and tells me the "command sent". and then waits for me to hit exit or enter again.
What does this test do? Does it close the purge and vent valves? Can I use it to "seal" the system to smoke test it?
