I can get a 2000 Excursion 6.8 2wd with 120k miles and in pretty decent shape for $2k.
Only issue, is that the passenger rear plug (could be drivers rear, I don't remember. So #5 or #10) plug hole is stripped.
Rough estimate on repair is < $300.
That would put me into it for $2,300. Seems like a good deal. Most of these in my area are going for 6k-10k with 200k+ mileage on them.
Hell, would even make a good flip.
