Exhaust help

well i hvae a 1st gen 94 explorer with a 4.0 and i was wondering if you guys know of an exhaust that sounds good on em... i dont want it to sound like a chopped ricer cause my buddy has dual flowmasters on his ranger and i think it sounds like ****. please help me. :exp:

yea his problem is that they are flowmasters.. just my opinion... but I had a set of glasspacks and it sounded good.

cat or no cat?? cause i could leave one on there so im not getting pulled over every 5 minutes

umm.. i've had both... i think with a cat does sound better. it gives it a more deep sound... the no cats. has more high tone to it...

Welcome to this forum! Don't remove the catalytic converter. It's not legal, and you wouldn't be able to pass inspection.

i was talking to my cousin which is a cop up here in the upper peninsula of michigan and he was saying state law is if a vehicle is older than 8 years old it is perfectly legal to do

OK Brooklyn... did I say anything about taking them off... All I said was the noticable sound difference... So don't jump so quick on saying it's illegal, it's his own decision anyways... just like it was my own decision. And thought you would know by now... Michigan doesn't have "Inspections", which just a way to take more of your hard earned money. Yea they help the environment, but only alittle.
