Hello all~

I have a 1994 XL with a 4.0L OHV engine... I'm considering saving up for the gibson cat-back system that is one outlet in the stock location... any ideas how well this will work or sound? Will this make my engine backfire at all due to too little back pressure? Because once I had a straight through glassback and it backfired all day long... Just wondering, it looks like a good deal for aorund $300 for the whole thing, and my boss that I work with said it would be a good one to buy. Thanks all!

I spent $108 on my dynomax cat back from summit. I should have ordered the 2.5 inch but I got the 2.25 inch because I was worried it would be too loud. It isn't. You can only hear it during hard acceleration. I saved enough to get a new catco catalytic converter. major improvement on power and accelleration. Not loud at all, and no droning.

I have the Magnaflow cat-back on mine and it is nice and mellow at idle and just a little louder than stock when you hit the gas. It sounds great and will slightly improve the performance. I would also go with the 2.5".

I agree with them, plus i have a magnaflow. Mine doesnt backfire and im sure yours wont either.
