on my 2000 eddie is there a o2 senser eliminater mod that wont hurt milage im doing a full exhaust headers true duals no cats or resonators wit magnaflow muffler help

This is probably a noob question but why eliminate the 02 sensor? If I'm not mistaken it's pretty important
